W Heath Robinson Machines

Noguchi

Noguchi was first and foremost considered a sculpture but had a preoccupation with play. A lot of his designs were not commissioned to be made as they were deemed to un safe but I really like the way he manipulates the landscape to create his playgrounds - His models out of plaster are good ways of describing his ideas too - Maybe we could make our scale models in a similar way so they have a fluidity?
